Solve the Mystery of What to Read this Summer in the Delaware Valley at the Library

The kids won’t have to find the solution for what to do this summer because they can solve the mystery at the local library. This July and August, libraries across Pennsylvania are participating in Get a Clue @ Your Library and offering fun-filled programs for children. This is just a sampling of the events, so visit your library to find out more or check out our calendar and detect even more sleuthy events.

Chester County

The Musical Mystery Library Tour

July 19, from 10-11a.m. 

Chaplin’s Music Cafe 66 North Main St. Spring City, Pa.

The wonderful musical duo, Two of a Kind, will be presenting their Musical Mystery Library Tour, an interactive concert featuring songs about reading, books, and literary sleuths.

Teen Library Crew Night: Sherlock Holmes

July 27, at 7p.m.

Chester County Library 450 Exton Square Pkwy., Exton, Pa.

Neill Hartley will present Sherlock Holmes & the Speckled Band. For students entering grades 6+. Registration required.

July 31, from 1-4p.m.

Featured book: Andromeda Strain. Solve a CSI mystery here at the library and attempt to eat forensic inspired cuisine. Ages 12 and up.

Summer Sleuths Reading Program
