Admissions Open House at The Crossroads School (12/2/2008, 9:00 AM) The Crossroads School in Paoli will offer the following Admissions Open House dates for the 2008-2009 school year: Tuesday, December 2, 2008, Tuesday, January 27, 2009, Wednesday, March 11, 2009, Thursday, April 16, 2009 and Tuesday, May 12, 2009. The Crossroads School was created to address the unmet academic needs of children with language-based learning differences, such as dyslexia. The curriculum at Crossroads is representative of traditional elementary and middle school programs, enhanced to meet the learning needs of its students. Teachers use a variety of language-based and multisensory teaching methods to make learning accessible for each child. In addition to core academic subjects, students participate in art, music and technology classes, speaking and listening classes and interscholastic sports programs.
