Description

Nashoba is a traditional co-ed sleepaway camp located in the beautiful Sebago Lake region of southern Maine, 2.5 hours North of Boston. 180 campers are ages 7 to 15 and may come for 4, 7 & 8 weeks, with a new 1 week riding program for girls. Nashoba is unique in that every camper creates thier own class schedule weekly allowing for true skill development. Competitive sports are offered on an elective basis. Our activity selection is huge! Campers come to Nashoba from all across the US and international countries. We are non-sectarian and family friendly. We specialize in first time campers. Our cabins all have electricity, showers, sinks, toilets and hot water. Free dvd available upon request. www.campnashoba.com


Activities

Nashoba offers a wide variety of landsport: soccer, tennis, basketball, baseball,volleyball, golf, softball & fieldhockey. Crescent Lake is spectacular for waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming & fishing. Performing arts include 2 theatres, dance, music & singing. Creative arts include pottery, photography, woodworking, arts & crafts, basketmaking & much more. Hiking is a large program at camp including rockclimbing, archery, farm animal care and nature.
Nashoba offers one of the premier horseback riding programs in the Northeast complete with stable management classes. Over 30 farm animals on site. New 1 week riding program for girls called Toppers.
