Description
Musical Theater Camps Mission: To give children, ages 7-12, a fun filled week discovering the many aspects of the performing arts with classes in dancing, acting, and singing while studying the stage productions of a new Broadway show each week with instruction in costuming, props, sets and makeup. Students' days are filled with acting, voice and dance classes, rehearsals, crafts, games, playtime and snacks. Their weekly production will be performed in our 95 seat black box theater, Studio A, for friends and family on Friday afternoon at 4pm.
Musical Theater camp runs July 14th - 19th featuring High School Musical, July 21st - 26th featuring Beauty and The Beast, July 28th - Aug. 1st featuring Hairspray, the musical and August 4th - 9th featuring The Little Mermaid, the musical. These camps run from 9:30-4:30pm Monday - Friday.
Movie Camp Mission: To give students, ages 11-17, hands-on experience in all aspects of filmmaking by having them conceptualize, write, cast, rehearse, light, shoot, edit & act in their own short film. Their film will be screened for all at the end of the camp and given to each student on DVD.
Movie Camp runs August 11th-17th from 10-8pm Monday - Sunday.
Kids Camp Mission: To give children, ages 3-6, a fun filled week discovering the many aspects of the performing arts with classes in dancing, storybook acting, singing, music and crafts. Students' days are filled with acting, voice and dance classes, rehearsals, crafts, games, playtime and snacks. Their weekly performance on Fridays at 4pm will highlight many of the activites they participated in that week including their art work, crafts and performances in dance, singing and acting.
Kids Camp runs July 21st - 25th and July 28th - August 1st from 10 - 2:30pm Monday - Friday.
Before and After Care available for ALL Arts YOU Campers at $5 each time that they may need it. Snacks and drinks are provided for all campers and dinner for Movie Campers only on late nights.
Camps are limited to 20 children per week, per camp and once filled a waiting list is formed.
Activities
Dance classes in all styles, Group Voice, Acting classes, Crafts, on-site outdoor activites and Performances at the end of each week for Friends and Families.
