Plymouth Meeting Friends School Camp

plymouth meeting friends school camp      Nationally acclaimed local and regional artists, musicians, and teachers provide one-on-one instruction and encouragement to campers of all ages and artistic backgrounds. In our twenty-third summer three levels of programming are offered. Junior camp is available for children 3-6 years old. Children ages 7-14 years are welcome to register for our intermediate level arts camp. Leadership programs are available for young adults ages 13-16. The Quaker School at Horsham

     The Summer Enrichment program is a five-week curriculum designed for children with learning differences who need help in retaining and reinforcing skills in Language Arts and Mathematics during the summer. It benefits students who need a systematic learning experience with direct teaching of concepts and skills through multi-sensory techniques.

     Children will be taught in small groups, using strategies appropriate for their learning style. The program offers 1:1 Wilson or 1:1 Project Read, Framing Your Thoughts (FYT), instruction, by a certified tutor. In addition to Wilson and FYT, each child will receive enrichment and reinforcement in other areas such as: handwriting, mathematics-computational skills and problem solving skills, keyboarding, vocabulary development, or reading comprehension. The Program is designed with enrichment of academics in the morning and a recreational program in the afternoon. The afternoon includes swimming, art, music, woodshop, technology and weekly field trips.

Princeton Day School Summer Programs

     Princeton Day School Summer Programs offers a wide range of day and overnight programs for all ages in arts, academics, athletics and adventure. Some of the programs include: language arts and math, chess, computers, Legos, writing, SAT prep, foreign languages, cooking, acting, video, sculpture, photography, and CIT to name a few. Allentown Art Museum Summer Day Camps 2006

     What do cola bottles, soup cans, cereal boxes, and a dollar bill have in common? These popular images were subjects of an art movement called Pop Art. Kids will explore Andy Warhol and the Museum’s collection, inspiring them to “connect the dots” between 1960s Pop artists and other artists throughout history. This camp is a unique combination of art appreciation, art discovery, and art making that could only be offered in a museum setting.   • 9-12 years: July 31-August 4, 2006

Camp Creek Run

     Camp Creek Run is a dynamic day camp for children ages 4-13. Our campers do more in one day than most kids do all summer! We offer certified teachers as counselors, a full sports program, nature study & gardening on our 40-acre nature preserve, visual & performing arts, fishing, swimming & swimming instruction, archery, & more! EnVision Gymnastics

     EnVision Gymnastics, LLC Summer Day Camps for ages 3-12! EnVision Gymnastics is offering 3 day mini camps for 3-5 year olds and 5 day camp session for 5-12 year olds. The emphasis of the camp program is keeping our children healthy and fit for the summer! Campers will experience all the Olympic gymnastics events plus trampoline in our air-conditioned facility. Outdoor games, water play, and crafts help round out the campers day and provide some rest time. Campers will enjoy the 35-foot slip and slide and the water slide as part of the outdoor activities.
