Description: Tours of the Fort by Uniformed Tour Guides, uniform and weapons demo and even a cannon fired. Over 14 historic buildings, grounds surrounded by tress and pastures and a shaded picnic area adjacent to the Delaware River

Guided Tours: Available
Tours gievn by uniformed interpretive guides in Revolutionary or Civil War uniform. After the tour groups receive a uniform and weapons demo.

Group Tours: Available
Groups of 25 or more are welcome and receive a guided tour, uniform and weapons demo, cannon demo and education program. Cost is $8 per person (teachers free)

Some Special Events require additional fee (Ghosts Tours, Sleeping With the Ghosts, 12th Night Dinner, etc.)

Activities for Children
Learn to be a soldier and drill with a wooden musket. See how the soldiers fired a musket and cannon and maybe even get dressed in a Revolutionary or Civil War uniform and tour the Dungeons where Civil War soldiers lived.

Activities for Adults
Magnificant historic structures from 1798 to 1875. Enlisted Barracks, Officers Quarters, Casemates (Dungeons) walk the ancient walls overlooking the Delaware River and have lunch in the picnic area. Learn about the many spirits said to frequent this 235 year Fort.

Food concession booth is available at all weekend Special Events. Check our Calendar of Events for details and times and dates of events.

Birthday Party Facilities: Available
Birthdays for children 12 years and under are available. Child is made "Commader of the Fort for a day" and receives a Revolutionary War tricorn hat, wooden musket and Button that proclaims them "Commander for a Day." Group receives a tour of the Fort, uniforma nd weapn demo, child is captain of cannon crew for firing and games/activities during your stay.
