Mission & Philosophy
The Lutheran Academy provides quality education, shapes Christian values, and encourages a child's relationship with God. We are adding a new NORTH CAMPUS which will reach more students in the Lehigh Valley. Located in the countryside of Northampton, equestrian programs and other outdoor activities are being planned. Opening in August 2010 the new site will provided space for more classrooms to the Allentown campus.
Educational Objectives
Through both our SCHOOL YEAR and SUMMER PROGRAMS, our goal is to have each child exceed the standards laid out by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. High School Students will by in CyberSchool. Social outlets will be in the computer lab and the many field trips they will take. PK through 8th Grader students will, also, improve upon at least 18 life skills each year through our daily Character Building Program.
Learning Environment
We have small class sizes, experience certified teachers, a weekly chapel service, an all day preschool and kindergarten program, a computer lab, daily Spanish language practice, bi-weekly Spanish and Latin classes, care before and after school if required, and weekly art, music, and gym. THE NEW NORTH CAMPUS opening in August 2010, will provide for additional outdoor activities including EQUESTRIAN and other outdoor activities. Parents are invited to visit often. Open Houses are held every Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm, October through May. CHECK OUT OUR SUMMER PROGRAM AS WELL!
