Mission & Philosophy
The Crefeld School is a school of new beginnings. We welcome students seeking an alternative educational program—one that is progressive and college preparatory. We pursue high academic standards in a relaxed, intimate and collaborative atmosphere, while simultaneously promoting an appreciation for artistic creation and civic responsibility. We welcome students seeking a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment, and for this purpose we provide learning and emotional support, combined with a holistic, systemic approach to each student. This environment is a safe haven for students because of a culture that respects diversity and because of a staff that cares passionately about every student.
