Patricia, J. Lear, owner and founder of the Center holds her master's degree in Special Education. She has various affiliations with numerous organizations and has presented seminars at the state level for the Council of Exceptional Children and the Learning Disabilities Association, to name a few. She has served as President for the local chapter of CEC and as a board member of the Learning Disabilities Association of the Lehigh Valley. Ms. Lear has taught in our public schools and at the Community College Level. She is documented as a Special Educational Specialist at the Federal Level.

In addition, the center employs Speech, Language, and Reading/Spelling Therapy Specialists, those with Early Childhood/Secondary Education Degrees and experienced Para-professionals. Our references are extensive and our reputation speaks for itself.

The Lear Educational Center is dedicated to ensuring that all students reach their full potential. When traditional public school programs have not worked to advance the student, we turn to highly respected programs specifically designed for the student with learning differences.

Our focus is speech, language, reading/spelling as the foundation of all learning. Comprehension is a skill that is focused on during all program sessions.

We will address learning needs in all subjects, one student to one teacher, as our goal is to analyze why the student is having difficulty and instruct in a manor that will ensure the student will become a self-directed learner. When the student leaves our programs it is with the tools to be successful on their own.
