Creepy Crawly Spider Bracelet

Fold a piece of black construction paper in half and place the child's fingers (midway through palm) along the folded edge. With white crayon trace the fingers (no thumbs) and with scissors cut out the outline. Unfold the spider and flip it over before curling the legs around a pencil. Use a 1" strip of black construction paper and tape to make a bracelet. Glue it to the underside of the spider. Decorate with wiggle eyes and a yellow construction paper diamond as shown.

Coffee Filter Vampire BatsCoffee Filter Vampire Bats

Paint a miniature wooden clothespin with black acrylic paint. Cut a basket type coffee filter in half. Paint one half with purple watercolor and the other with black watercolor. Once dry, put the purple wing on top of the black wing and pinch in towards the middle of the straight edge. Clamp with the clothespin and secure with glue. Use scissors to cut half circles out of the curved side of the wings like a bat. Decorate with wiggle eyes and white construction paper triangles for fangs.

Paper Bag PumpkinPaper Bag Pumpkin

Use orange acrylic to paint the outside of a brown paper lunch bag and green acrylic for the inside, top portion. Paint a second coat of orange but this time, paint the outside, top portion green. Once dry, use scissors to fringe the top green portion in 1/2" strips, fill the bag with crumpled newspaper and tie the top with 6-12" strands of green raffia. Cut a 1 1/2" wide strip of brown construction paper, roll it into a tube and stick in the top of the bag.

Glue GhostsGlue Ghosts

Place a piece of wax paper on a flat surface. Squeeze white school glue in the shape of a ghost and add wiggle eyes. Decorate your ghost with felt, buttons, mini pom-poms, or whatever you like. Let dry overnight before peeling off of the wax paper.

Paper Plate Jack-O'-LanternPaper Plate Jack-O'-Lantern

Paint the underside of a paper plate with orange acrylic paint and let dry. Using scissors, you can flatten out the bottom of the pumpkin and cut a dip in the top. Cut eyes, nose and mouth (missing teeth) out of yellow craft foam and use craft glue to attach. Cut oval-shaped leaves from green craft foam and glue them to the back of the top. Cut a rectangular stem from brown craft foam and glue that on the back between the stems.

Yummy Mummy Treat CupsYummy Mummy Treat Cups

Using scissors, cut strips out of an old white t-shirt. Run a glue stick on the back of each strip and wrap one at a time around a bathroom-sized paper or plastic cup, starting at the bottom. Press in place before adding another layer. Once the cup is completely mummified, glue on wiggle eyes and cut a bow out of any Halloween colored felt. It can be glued as a hair bow for girls or a bowtie for boys.
