COOL STUFF

Gustafer Yellowgold’s Wide Wild World

Your kids would love this adventure with Gustafer Yellowgold, who The New York Times described as “Dr. Seuss meets ‘Yellow Submarine’.” Gustafer is a mystical creature who left his home on the Sun to travel to earth to do what all kids want to do: make friends, make mischief and even search for dessert. This two-disc DVD/CD set contains glorious animation courtesy of Taylor, as well as his Beatles-inspired songs that invite parents to enjoy this spectacle along with their children.

Go Potty Go!

In 20 minutes time, this DVD teaches that it’s not potty training anymore, it’s potty learning. That’s because a child teaches themselves when they need to use the bathroom and how to recognize the signals. With the help of Paige and Parka Panda and songs and games, your toddler won’t find learning how to use the bathroom so scary anymore, they’ll find it fun!

COOL MUSIC

Meet the Robinsons

Meet the Robinsons isn’t just an animated, time traveling adventure, it’s also a CD. This soundtrack features some of today’s hottest talent from different sides of the music spectrum. Rufus Wainwright, part of the celebrated Wainwright family contributes two tracks. Rob Thomas, former singer of Matchbox 20 as well as the popular All-American Rejects, also plays a few songs for the CD. However, the real magic comes courtesy of Danny Elfman, one of the most renowned composers for feature films still working today. Elfman has been crafting music for film for over 25 years, his most memorable themes being that of the Michael Keaton Batman film, as well as the theme for The Simpsons. His score for the film plays just as well without the onscreen action, but just like all his other film scores, Elfman doesn’t miss a beat.
